Named for two peaks in the foothills that overlook Salt Lake Valley, the Avenues Twin Peaks is a popular hike on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail that ends with excellent views of Salt Lake Valley and the surrounding foothills. This hike is particularly scenic in the late spring when the wildflowers have bloomed.

Getting there

From downtown Salt Lake City, head north on 200 W. Turn right onto W North Temple St and then left (north) onto B St E. Turn right onto 11th Avenue until it intersects with Terrace Hills Dr. Turn left onto Terrace Hills Dr. and head north until the road ends in a cul-de-sac. There is no designated parking lot, but you can park along the street before you reach the no parking signs.
