Off-leash (unpaved trail)

One of the few legal off-leash areas in Salt Lake City, Parley’s Historic Nature Park near the mouth of Parley’s Canyon is very popular among dog owners. Its 87 acres of land, historical sites, wildlife refuge area, and easy access to Parley’s Creek — which dogs are allowed in — have delighted many pups and their humans over the years.

If you’re looking for another off-leash area with trails close to Salt Lake City, check out Memory Grove Trail.
