Located in the heart of the foothills above the Natural History Museum, The Living Room is a short and steep route to an overlook with rocks organized into different seating arrangements, offering a unique scenic view of the Sale Lake Valley below.

Climbing over 1,000 feet in 1 mile, The Living Room is not an easy hike or run, but the rock “furniture” at the top makes for a nice reward.

Getting there

Getting to the trailhead is easy, as Colorow Rd has plenty of free parking on both sides. The trailhead is on the southeastern end of the road near the Huntsman Way entrance.
