If you’re looking for a quick and easy trail that’s dog-friendly and close to downtown, consider West Popperton Hiking Loop. Established in November 2020 and located in Popperton Park, this trail has easy access, and its meandering path offers pleasant vistas of the Wasatch Mountains and Salt Lake Valley.

Getting there

From downtown, head east on S Temple Street. Turn left onto N Virginia Street and right onto Popperton Park Way. Over ten parking spots along Popperton Park Way are next to the trailhead.
